Steeler Sunday

I thought I put these on right, but apparently not. Ugh! I'm so frustrated. I used to be able to do it, I don't know if somehow I changed my settings on here.
These are photos from a cute paper bag album I created. I was surfing through really old blogs yesterday and saw this. I had everything here at home, it was pretty easy and took me a little over an hour or so. I have so many challenges to work on, but I really don't feel like it. I just want to do my own thing in my own time right now. I'm a little challenged out.
I also discovered this cute little gift card holder to make. Super easy, made from a toilet paper roll. Didn't take long at all. However I do suggest glueing a few of these the day before, let them dry overnight, then decorate. If I get some time later, I'm going to glue away.
Last night I went to my sister's for a campfire. Overdid it on the wine a little. Well I drank the whole bottle. Slight headache and dragging major butt today, but oh well. I don't do that very often, and it was a perfect night. My mom and brother also came up so it was a great time with my little family. My husband wasn't very social, but what else is new? He really needs to learn how to socialize, well not even, just be friendly.
I'm waiting for the kitchen and bathroom floors to dry. Then I have a date with Miss Clairol. I'm attempting to dye my own hair today. I used to pay to have it done, but that got pricey. My niece did it for me in June, but she is in New York now. My mom did it for me the beginning of August, but missed a few spots. So why not? I am hoping to get this done before the Steeler Game. I'll be a football widow, my husband will watch it in the basement, I will watch it upstairs in the living room. Like I said, he doesn't know how to socialize.
Well thanks for stopping by - have a great day/night!

In great need of mental therapy

Yesterday and today I have been in great need of mental therapy. I made this cute little baby album yesterday. (Someday I will figure out how to post the pics on this blog correctly.) This is the cover of course, and the ones above it are pics of the inside. The album is held together with a BBQ Skewer and a ponytail holder. The size is an 8 x 8, but I think a 5 x 7 would work better. The ponytail holder is as stretched out as it will get.

Tomorrow I will post today's projects. I didn't feel like working on challenges. I just wanted to do my own thing today.

Maybe I can get the other pics to post below. Well they didn't post below, they posted above. So when you look at the album, start at the bottm and work your way up. (Sorry)

As always...thanks for stopping by and have a great night!

SSC Sketchy Saturday Week 2

Crystal Blue Persuasion was the song we used to describe how blue Danny's eye were. Now 9 years later, every time he hears the song, he turns it up and says, "The radio's playing my song." Oh enjoy every moment, they grow up way too fast. I miss having a baby in the house.

SSC Sketchy Saturday Week 1 September

Mojo wasn't flowing how I wish it would have been, but I had some "me" time. Made me sad doing this - my baby isn't a baby anymore. He's 9. This pics are from a friend of mine. I found a disc of pictures I never printed.

Christmas Cards All Year Round - Part 2 Correction

I was so excited to submitt my cards that I duplicated the picture of one card, and left this one out. Oops! Someday I will get the hang of doing this.
This is official now, all 5 of my cards are submitted. I apologize for the mess up. :)

Christmas Cards All Year Long

My first submission to this group. The rules are simple...create 5 Christmas cards using the challenge given. The challenge for September was to create 5 different or 5 of the same cards not using the standard card size and somewhere in your creation you were to use gold, silver, crystals or pearls. I'm happy I was able to finish tonight.

These are my 5 cards, and I have completed the challenge for September.

As always thanks for stopping by and have a great night!
